Print, cut and laminate these 48 INTERNET CHALLENGE CARDS and use them year after year.

This resource will help your students increase their online research skills. These cards will have your students involved in general ‘Google Search’ research, as well as using applications such as Google Maps, Google Earth, PowerPoint and Email. The cards also incorporate various recording skills such as Venn Diagrams and timelines.

Teachers should encourage students to make sure they acknowledge and reference their online information.

NB: Any use of internet activity should involve teacher supervision and be used in a safe on-line environment

    My class used these to practice ‘online search’ skills. They worked in pairs to compete with other pairs to find information that was then voted on by the rest of the class as useful, factual and referenced. Thank you! Another really good resource.

    I have used these cards as a reading rotation activity for my groups since last year. I had a group of boys who became very passionate about a couple of the card tasks relating to current issues. They did their research and as a result emailed our Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern. About 3 months later the boys received a response from her. This helped ignite a real passion for community for this group of boys.
